You must remain consistent no matter what. I know I do this Gullah Porch every Friday and while it seems like no one reads them the backend stats tell me differently. So while I sometimes say I’m doing this for nothing, I also realize that you have to keep going because someone is reading, and even if you have an audience of one, you have someone. So keep going! Q: What’s your favorite beach?
In Charleston, I prefer Isle of Palms with Folly Beach being 2nd. I think more black folks are on Folly Beach. Kiawah is a no for us….don’t go. Another beach I love is Alys Beach. It’s not as well known, and if you look it up, it looks like we aren’t welcome there, but when I went, I saw a lot of black folks, so please go check it out. Not all areas are welcoming to black people so you gotta be careful.
