These past few weeks have been hell in America. Sadl,y we got all year. The good news is you can do a lot by watching how you spend and getting off social media to take breaks. I think protesting is a waste of time but that’s just me. We need to do more than that because money makes this country move. Anywhoo, welcome to another edition of The Gullah Porch. Q: What are your thoughts on why family or friends don’t support your small business but strangers do.
I think your family and friends may not be your target audience. My friends aren’t on social so I don’t know if they support by telling people about me or what. I don’t care it’s my job to get the word out about my business on my own with our without them. It would be great if they help out, but it’s not expected. I also think sometimes folks who work regular 9-to-5 jobs don’t pay much attention to small business owners unless they need something. People are busy with their own lives they aren’t always thinking about you and your business. If they need something I sell they know where to find me.
