Q: Why do you think so many small businesses fail?
I think the main reason is money. It takes money to make money and a lot of us don’t have extra money to spend or waste. There have been times when I have given out more than I have made when it comes to my business. It costs me to market and do things for free and I don’t mind doing it but sometimes there is no return and you have to be able to take that loss without you being lost in the negative. Also, a lot of small businesses give up to easily. Sometimes it takes years to grow…years. You can’t say no one liked my product or liked my post after 3 months, you have to keep going, even if it’s small stuff. There are some months I sell no shirts and some months I sell a lot. I still don’t have a large following, nor do I get a lot of likes, but it takes consistency and not giving up.
