It’s been nice weather here in Jawja for the past few days. I did pull my boots out because I have been itching to wear them and my toes aren’t done, so there is that. How was your week? I hope it was well. If you are new here welcome to the Gullah Porch! This is the place we gather at on Fridays to sip some tea, spend some moolah, read up on some news, and get some questions answered by yours truly. Q: What’s your favorite HBCU?
I went to CAU and got accepted to Spelman, SC State, Winston-Salem State, and Hampton. I love NCA&T, and I am trying to get my daughter to check them out. I love any HBCU that helps its students. I will say there is nothing like home SC State will always be in my heart, as I should have gone there instead of coming out of state. So my favorite is SC State lol.
My heart also goes out to those who were involved in the tragic shooting there a few weeks ago. College should be a time for fun and learning not loosing a life.
