It’s Friday and if it’s pay day for you please take a moment to be thankful you get a paycheck. I know many who are in the government shut down won’t and SNAP benefits are being cut. It’s sad the world we live in we got money for ballrooms but….anywhoo….It’s Friday and I’m thankful I got paid today I also helped out a few people who have been hit hard by donating my time and money to organizations that need help. If you can help someone this weekend you may be the only one that does. If you are new here hey…welcome to the Gullah Porch. Q: Tips on how to make money stretch
In this economy if it’s not a main bill get rid of it. Call all of your bills and see if you can get some deals and discounts on them. I called my car insurance (state farm) and they knoced 100 bucks off. I canceled some subscriptions that I had and I sold some things on a website my son uses to sell clothes. My girl had some great tips on how to make food stretch. Also, side note….have conversations about money with your trusted friends. You ain’t gotta tell them everything but talk about how y’all can help each other out or give tips and tricks to save money that the other may not know about.
