I met Tara AKA the Bossy Educator a few years ago as a photographer and I have been taking her pics ever since for her business and brand. Love her and it is my pleasure to have her on this website. This is the History of Tara Seals.
1. Where were you born and raised?
I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. Shout out to BLACKhaven!!! #MTown
2. Who were you in high school? (quiet, talkative, etc)
In high school, I was a very active student and outgoing child. I was involved in several organizations and student activities such as the band (trumpet), piano, chorus, National Jr. & Sr. Honor Societies, Mu Alpha Theta, yearbook, bookclub, Girl Scouts of America, to name a few.
3. Share something from your past that you don’t mind sharing (good or bad) and what did you learn about from it. How did it shape who you are today? Give us a history lesson……
I learned quickly growing up that I was responsible for my outcomes—no one else. That realization helped me persevere and determine not only what I wanted to do, but how I would go about doing it. It taught me resilience, accountability, and the value of self-leadership, lessons I now carry into my work by helping others create their own path to success.

5. Shout out your favorite business.
I want to give a special shoutout to one of my favorite businesses—A’s & B’s Tutorial Services! This was one of my very first places of employment, and it holds a special place in my heart. Mr. Yates was not only the Founder and CEO, but also one of my mentors. He guided me to see the impact of teaching and the joy of helping young people embrace learning and growth.
6. If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future or anything else, what would you want to know?
I’d want to discover the strengths I haven’t fully utilized yet, so I can maximize my impact in this world.
