Q: What’s one parenting tip that you always give?
Teach your kids about money. Money is very important for them to live in this world and I think they should know how it works at a young age. I got my kids a debit card at 12 years old and gave them a small bill. I take the money they give me and put it in a savings account to give them when they graduate. It helps them to understand how to budget their money. I know people will say well they have all their life to do that let them be kids. I don’t want them to be shook when they become an adult. If they stay ready they never have to get ready and by the time their 18 they will know that money does not in fact grow on trees.
