Let’s make tuna fish salad
Y’all don’t want a story y’all just want the recipe but I will say this my mom made this a lot during the Summer and I tore it up. Gotta use that Helmans. Here is how you make tuna fish salad.
Tuna Fish Salad
Macaroni elbow pasta (16 ounces)
2 to 3 canes of tuna (I get the one in oil or you can get the fresh real tuna)
3 boiled eggs chopped
1/2 cup of celery chopped
1/2 cup red onion
1/4 cup dill pickles
1 cup of mayonnaise (I use a tad bit more depending on how you want the consistency)
1 tbsp of dijon mustard
2 teaspoons of lemon juice
Salt and pepper to your liking Garnish with parsley and paprika
Ohhhhh myyy this almost made me tear up. My mama did the same. Especially when we made our way to the beach every other weekend. Lol. I’d beg her to leave the celery and onion out of mine. Lol and she would make me a special bowl. Awwww thank you for the memory.
I picked the green stuff out as I call it still don’t like it and I also don’t like the green stuff in my red rice I’ll cook with it but will pick it out lol
