Q: As a business owner what are the top 2 things you have to do to ensure your business stands out from others?
- Your business needs to do something different, something that stands out and that’s unique to you. Everyone owns a shirt but are there a lot of shirt companies that represent the Gullah Geechee community? Sure there are some but do they have good customer service and do they offer perks. I offer a lot of perks to my newsletter folks and I pride myself on excellent customer service.
- I wear my brand everywhere there is still power in word of mouth and networking with your brand in and around town. Everywhere you go should be a part of your brand in some way. Because I own a tshirt company anytime I go out of town I wear my shirt it’s a must.
